Can I use Wi-Fi?

You can surf at the Internet for free in your apartment (wireless). During your stay you can check your email on all your devices, the children can chat with their friends or you can work online with your own laptop. Of course you can also surprise your family or friends at home with your holiday pictures or share them on social media.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are not allowed in the apartments of De Gulden Stroom.

Is it possible to extend my stay?

Depending on the availability and the period, it is possible to extend your stay. This is only possible by telephone request. Phone number: 0031-118-440971.

Can I bring my bike?

There are 2 indoor store rooms in the building where you can park your bicycle. There are a number of charging stations available for e-bikes.

Is there a supermarket nearby?

The city centre is about 800 m on walking distance from your apartment with 2 supermarkets.

Can I bring my own bed linen?

It is not allowed to bring your own bedlinen. The beds are made up upon arrival.

Are towels included?

On arrival 2 towels per person will be ready for you. If you would like extra towels, you can reserve them for € 9,00 per package.
A towel package consists of 1 towel and 1 bath towel.

Kitchen towels are also provided on arrival. If you would like extra kitchen towels, you can reserve them for € 9,00 per pack. A kitchen package consists of 1 towel and 1 tea towel.

Is there a coffee maker?

Your apartment is fully equipped, for example there is a Nespresso coffee maker, a filter coffee maker, a washing machine, dryer, hair dryer etc.

Is there children’s furniture?

You can reserve children's furniture.
Child’s bed € 15.00 per week (bedlinen exclusive)
High Chair € 15.00 per week

Are the apartments non-smoking?

All the apartments are non-smoking. Smoking is only allowed on the balcony with the balcony door and vents closed. On the balcony is an ashtray.

Does my apartment has sea view?

All the apartments at De Gulden Stroom have sea view.

Where can I park my car?

During check-in, you can park your car in front of our building on the Boulevard Bankert at the blue sign. If this is not available, you can park your car in the street behind the Boulevard and in the parking area around the cinema Cinecity. PLEASE NOTE, THE SAME APPLIES HERE, EVERYWHERE PAID PARKING! You are not allowed to park on the Boulevard, this is for permit holders only. Under the building there is a parking garage at additional costs and on reservation (based on availability), where you can rent a parkingspace.The car park has a driving height of 1.90 metres.  There is also about 300 metres away from our building, in the street behind the Boulevard a car park (available at additional cost). On this parkinglot we also rent a number of permanent parking spaces equipped with a bracket. The team of De Gulden Stroom is happy to inform you about parking in the neighbourhood.

Is the building accessible for the disabled?

Our apartment complex is of course accessible to the disabled. The front of our complex is equipped with stairs. Through the back of our building you can use the ramp to the 1st floor which gives access to the apartments. It is also possible to get a key to the pedestrian door of the garage so you do not have to use the ramp. You can get this key at the reception. To make your stay as pleasant as possible, it is also possible to reserve aids such as a shower stool and thresholds for the front door. It is also possible to reserve appliances through Medipoint, this organization has a wide range of appliances. The team of De Gulden Stroom is happy to inform you about the layout of apartments.
